You were thrilled for your kiddos as school loomed in the distance.

They love to learn, you thought.

They’re always asking questions, and now they’ll have the chance to find out all the answers, you told yourself.

They need more than I can give them, and now they’ll be challenged, you mused.

But, as time went on (whether it was before they actually began formal schooling, or were several years in) you realized that your kids were just a little more than the kids around them.

💙More excitable…

💙More intense…

💙More curious…

💙More anxious…

💙More talkative…

💙More… moremore

You want so badly to meet their every noisy, overexcitable, asynchronous, quirky need, but you just don’t know where to start.

Traditional schooling didn’t work, and neither does a typical approach to homeschooling.

You’re raising differently-wired kiddos, friend, and these amazing and quirky kids need a differently-wired approach to their education.

You can do this.

I’ll help.

I met you at the Great Homeschool Convention this weekend and heard your session on perfectionism. I felt like you were speaking directly to me.  I knew my daughter was a perfectionist, but never really understood the depth behind some of my own struggles.  It was so eye opening and there were so many lessons for me to help improve as a parent to my differently-wired kid as we start our own homeschool journey this coming fall. Your site and podcast are treasure troves for anyone who is homeschooling differently-wired and quirky kids. Thank you.

I must admit, you are one of my favorite humans. My children, and myself for that matter, have always been a bit on the outside looking in. I was identified gifted, as was my husband, in elementary school. I never put two and two together until I heard you speak a few years ago, and I’ve been following you ever since. You’ve brought a calm and peace to my home and our homeschool in ways I never thought possible. Thank you for all you do to serve this community.
